Phase 4 Evaluation to Phase 5 is ‘Commercialization’ step for new apple varieties

• Limited to Phase 4 participating growers
• Evaluation contracts are converted to non-exclusive Commercial License
• Certified virus free wood is required
• Stepped royalty, one time payment at time of planting…NO ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS
• Royalties are based on previous years production or acreage
