WSU Apple Cultivar Commercialization Plan:

A unique Washington State grower opportunity

 

The goals of the commercialization plan are to

  • Ensure fair access to all selections by all growers of Washington State
  • Protect WSU Intellectual Property (IP)
  • Ensure accessibility of WSU Apple Breeding Program (WSUABP)

 

Note: Absolutely critical to participate as phase 4 selection evaluator in order to participate in the phase 5 commercialization of ‘WA 2’

 

Grower evaluation (Phase 4)

Open to all commercial growers in Washington State paying Washington Apple Commission assessments

Evaluation sign up period: December 1 to March 31 annually for each of the 5 evaluation period years
