Comparisons of organic and conventional grain farms in terms of yield, energy efficiency and profit per acre

Abstract:Grain farmers in eastern Washington using alternative methods that were considered organic farming were surveyed as to their practices and their costs and returns.  These results were compared with standard practice, and comparisons of economics and energy use were developed.
